Saving and Sharing Patch Groups

You can save and share groups of patches with other Spark AR Studio creators, and import ready-made patch groups into your own projects. It's a great way to quickly and easily build effects with logic and interactivity.

At the moment, you can't include any consumer or producer patches in these patch groups.

Saving your patch group

Once you're happy with your graph:

  1. Create a group by selecting your graph, right-clicking and selecting Group.
  2. Right-click on the group.
  3. Select Create Asset From Group.

Your patch group will look like this:

It'll be listed in the Assets panel:

If you right click on the patch group in the Assets panel and select Reveal in Finder, you'll see that an .arpatch file has been be created.

You can share this file with other creators!

Any groups of patches you've added to a project will be saved in the patch library:

Importing a Patch Group

Either import or drag .arpatch files directly into the Assets panel, like you would any other asset.

Add the group to the Patch Editor by either:

  1. Right-clicking on the group in the Assets panel, and selecting Create Patch.
  2. Dragging the group from the Asset panel straight into the Patch Editor.

Finding and Sharing Patch Groups

The best way to find and share groups of patches is by joining the Spark AR Creator Group.
