Object and Asset Management

To create an effect, you'll need to add objects and assets into your project.

To insert an object into your scene:

  1. Click Insert.
  2. Pick the object need from the menu.
  3. Click Insert.

Managing Objects

To link objects to each other in the scene, you can create a parent-child relationship between them.

To make one object the child of another:

  1. Go to the Scene tab.
  2. Drag the child object onto the parent object.

Now, the child object will take on or be affected by the properties of the parent object, including the transformations.

You can import your own assets into Spark AR Studio, including:

  • Textures.
  • Audio files.
  • Animations.

Before you try to import anything, check the supported file formats.

Importing Assets

The most simple way to import assets is through the Assets panel. You can import one or more assets at a time.

To import your assets:

  1. Go to the Assets panel.
  2. Click +.
  3. Select Import Assets... and select the files you want to import from your computer.

You can also drag asset files from your computer to the Assets panel directly.

Managing Assets

Once imported, your assets will be visible in the Assets panel. Your assets will stored on your computer in the project folder. Learn more about project file management.
